Adeline Wilhelmina Molik, 94 of Perrysburg and formerly of Temperance, MI and Toledo, OH, went to be with her Lord and Maker on Friday, July 1, 2016. Born May 22, 1922, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of William and Adeline (Snyder) Noethen, Sr. She married Edward Molik on October 24, 1942. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2002. Adeline was employed as a secretary for Washington Local Schools for 15 years, retiring in 1972. Afterwards, she worked for Textile Leather, Flower Hospital and during WWII, was a “Rosie the Riveter” at the Willys Overland. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, MI, Bedford Senior Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., Post 3925 in Erie, MI. Adeline enjoyed cooking, homemaking, gardening, camping, hiking, boating, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was also versed in music (guitar and accordion) and was a leader in both Brownies and Girl Scouts.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Linda Moery and Larraine (Kurt) Putnam; brother, John (Ellen) Noethen; sister, June Jones; grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) and Ellen Moery; great grandchildren, Noah and Lillie. She was also preceded in death her granddaughter, Jennifer Lyn Putnam, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Thursday, July 7, 2016, and 9-11:00 am, Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
